L'Archivolto

Lorenzo Ferretti Garsi

Hi.  I’m Lorenzo Ferretti Garsi.  I was born in Reggio Emilia on June 24th, 1956.  After my studies in a Classical Lyceum (high school) I went to university in Venice where I graduated in Architecture in February of 1982.  After serving a period of military service I started working in my father’s construction company.  In 1984, I opened the studio L’Archivolto with Desolina.  In 1989 I concluded working with my father and since then I work solely as an architect.
In 1990 I was among the founders of the local delegation for Fai (Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano) similar to the English National Trust.  I dedicated much of my free time as a volunteer and continue to do so to this day as chairman to the delegation.
I am very fond of traveling.  I travel the world with the purpose of discovering new and stimulating environments and landscapes.  Another of my great passions is following art exhibits throughout Italy and Europe.
If you would like to know more about me you have only to meet me in person.
I’m looking forward to meeting you soon.
